Alliance vs. Coppell was a hard hitting affair with Alliance
owning most possession.
However, they were unable to convert many chances into
points. Coppell was bolstered
by their big inside center and a very fast wing.
If Coppell could reduce their numerous
penalties for offsides they would have
been more of a factor.

Alliance vs. Allen started with Allen owning
possession and field position. Allen capped it off with a try in the right
corner from a penalty early in the first half. Alliance began to exert some
pressure in the scrums and found that Allen was vulnerable to runs from the
base. Long forays into Allen territory paid off with 4 tries and one
conversion.
